ALTERNATIVE PLAY SPACES AND FIELD TRIPS

We will occasionally attend an alternative play space, including the YMCA’s CCRR on Notre Dame Dr. and local parks such as Beatty School and Prince Charles Park.

We will also occasionally take field trips to sites such as, but not limited to, the BC Wildlife Park, the pet store, the Tournament Capital Centre pool and the Kamloops Gymnastics and Trampoline Centre.  Parents will be notified of planned field trips in advance, and consent forms will be sent home as well.

POOL

Going to the pool is a fun opportunity for all of our children. All Children and staff will review our safety plan for conduct at the pool facility and going to and from the pool.

GYMNASTICS

Kamloops Gymnastics/Trampoline Centre offers a wide variety of programs for children aged 18 months and up. At KGTC their Philosophy is to enhance self-esteem, as well as physical and mental self confidence using gymnastics as a tool. As they work with your child, the child will gain a better understanding of how their body works, will increase their vocabulary, improve their listening skills and increase their independence and self reliance through the sport of gymnastics. Safety is always at the fore-front of all their lessons and they work diligently to provide your child with a safe, exciting, positive and engaging learning environment.

Jumping Joeys is a one-hour drop-in program for Adult and Tots (to age 5). It is a fun and informal introduction to gymnastics and trampoline. Adult participation is required in this class, so in addition to the coach, I will also directly supervise the children.
